City Mag is go!

Posted on 03 September 2009

citymag 09 coverEstelle’s City Magazine Luxembourg hit the streets and mailboxes of residents in the city of Luxembourg on Thursday 3 September.

Mayor Paul Helminger used his regular City Breakfast meeting with journalists on 2 September to unveil the new format of the Ville de Luxembourg’s official monthly publication. The new City Mag, which each month bears the name of its cover star, is more accessible and “lighter” than its predecessor, the award-winning RendezVous magazine. The idea to launch a new format was taken following a survey of readers. The result is a publication that appears in newspaper format but with a magazine quality feel.

It is divided into two sections for easy navigation. The city magazine section includes news from and about the city as well as a plethora of useful information, people profiles and guides to the best the capital city has to offer. The city agenda section is divided into easily identifiable chapters previewing the best theatre, dance, opera, cinema, music and exhibitions of the coming month. Each section also includes a comprehensive day-to-day events guide.

To reach as many residents and visitors as possible, content is published in both English and French (or, where appropriate, in German). City Magazine Luxembourg is produced by Mike Koedinger Editions for the Ville de Luxembourg.

Keep up to date with progress by following City Magazine Luxembourg on Twitter or joining our Facebook group.
